Week 13 saw more than 25,000 daily flights in Europe with holiday traffic driving a slight increase of 0.4% week-on-week. However, arrival punctuality dropped to 78%, down from 83% in Week 12. The top 10 airlines were overall 3.6% busier. The top two airlines, Ryanair and easyJet, recorded increases of 13% (2,780 daily flights) and 3% (1,426 daily flights), respectively. Looking at airports, iGA Istanbul Airport took the top spot, with a 2% traffic increase (1,328 daily flights), while Rome-Fiumicino recorded the highest top 10 growth (6%) with 782 daily flights.
