Ahead of the originally planned Q1 2026 deadline, Waberer’s Group has successfully handed over its first fully self-managed build-to-own warehouse development project at the end of 2025. As a result of the greenfield investment, a modern parcel logistics centre of nearly 25,000 m² has been completed for Magyar Posta. This project is of particular importance for the company, as it marks the first build-to-own development of its real estate division—designed with customer-specific technical requirements and developed for future sale. This market-based development serves as a key reference, laying the foundation for Waberer’s future role in the Hungarian and Central Eastern European logistics real estate market. The investment has created a high-specification logistics facility that can accommodate the technologies of the future, including automation and robotics. Full-scope development responsibility from land selection to handover As part of the assignment, Waberer’s managed the entire development and construction process: from selecting the industrial site, obtaining building permits and preparing designs, to overseeing full construction coordination and final technical handover.
