Cross-company partnership key to standardizing emission accounting for the deep-sea RoRo segment / Wallenius Wilhelmsen became a member of the Smart Freight Centre (SFC) a global non-profit organization focused on climate action in the freight sector and attended the Global Ro-Ro Community kick-off meeting hosted by SFC in Amsterdam in April. Bringing together carriers and shippers, the group’s goal is to establish uniform standards to accelerate the decarbonization process within the Ro-Ro shipping industry, creating common ground for fair competition between carriers in terms of scope 3 GHG emissions accounting.
