North Sea Port: North Sea Port reports a strong second quarter in 2026 (15 July 2026)
In the second quarter of 2026, companies at North Sea Port handled 16.8 million tonnes of cargo via seaborne transport. This represented growth of almost 1% compared with the same quarter a year earlier and marked a clear recovery following the weak first quarter of this year. In particular, the transhipment of containers, general cargo and rolling stock saw a strong increase. Inland waterway transport grew by almost 5%.
Compared with the second quarter of 2025, a number of segments recorded solid growth. This is attributable to the broad diversification of activities and cargo flows within the port area. At the same time, this underlines the resilience of the companies in the port, which continue to invest and operate despite the ongoing (geopolitical) uncertainty. In particular, the transhipment of containers (+13%), general cargo (+13%) and rolling stock (RoRo, +4%) flourished. This contrasts with a decline in the transhipment of dry bulk (-2.5%) and liquid bulk (-1.6%), which together account for three-quarters of total cargo transhipment.

TomTom International BV: Second quarter 2026 results (Jul 15, 2026)
Maintaining momentum with improving margins and positioned for future profitable revenue growth
TOMTOM’S CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, MIKE SCHOOFS
"In April, I had the privilege of taking over the helm from Harold, with great enthusiasm and a strong sense of responsibility. I am building on a solid foundation at a time when the location intelligence industry is gaining momentum, powered by rapid advances in AI.
This was evident at the Beijing Auto Show, where I had the opportunity to meet with customers and partners. The pace of innovation in electric vehicles and automated driving continues to accelerate, underscoring the growing importance of high-quality location data that can be seamlessly consumed by intelligent systems and models, enabling richer applications across a wide range of use cases.
For 2026, revenue is developing as expected. Looking beyond this year, we anticipate a return to revenue growth from 2027 onwards, supporting further improvements in profitability."

Port of Antwerp-Bruges: Europäischer Seehandel: Port of Antwerp-Bruges behauptet sich in einem schwierigen ersten Halbjahr 2026 (2026-07-16)
