4.8 million passengers flew to, from or via Schiphol in January 2025. It is an increase of almost 6% compared to 2024. Most passengers flew to the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy and the United States. The number of flights to and from Schiphol was 35.717. That is an increase of almost 2% compared to 2024.

LHR Airports Limited: Record demand drives Heathrow growth - results for year ended 31 Dec 2024 (26.02.2025)
Customer demand to fly from Heathrow continues to grow – 2024 was a record year for Heathrow, with colleagues welcoming a record 83.9 million passengers. Heathrow’s status as the best connected airport in the world and good customer service contributed to the 6% annual passenger growth. We also saw a 10% increase in cargo boosting British exports to markets around the world. More flying and larger aircraft will help drive growth in 2025 although constrained capacity will likely see a smaller uptick in annual performance. Delivering value for customers remains our key priority – Teamwork across the airport has driven improvements in service with stable security wait times, more on-time departures and better baggage performance. AB Volvo: AB Volvo publishes Annual Report 2024 (27.02.2025)
“2024 was a year of normalizing market demand as freight and construction activity came down in many regions after a couple of years of very strong growth. It was also a year of continued geopolitical turmoil. In these challenging circumstances the Volvo Group continued to show resilience in earnings on lower volumes after hard work by dedicated colleagues and business partners across the value chain,” says Martin Lundstedt, President and CEO. The Volvo Groupʼs net sales decreased by 3% when adjusted for currency and amounted to SEK 526.8 billion, with sales of vehicles being 5% lower than in 2023 and sales of services increasing by 4%. The Group generated good profits on the lower sales volumes with an adjusted operating income of SEK 65.7 billion (78.2) and an adjusted operating margin of 12.5% (14.0).
