Berlin, 19. Januar 2026 – Der TÜV-Verband vergibt erstmals den TÜV Award „New Mobility City“, einen bundesweiten Preis für Städte und Gemeinden mit besonders nachhaltigen Mobilitätskonzepten. Ausgezeichnet werden Kommunen, die mit innovativen Maßnahmen zu mehr Verkehrssicherheit, nachhaltiger Stadtentwicklung und hoher Lebensqualität beitragen. „Mobilität ist mehr als der Weg von A nach B. Sie prägt den Alltag, die Lebensqualität und die Sicherheit in unseren Städten“, sagt Richard Goebelt, Fachbereichsleiter Fahrzeug & Mobilität beim TÜV-Verband. „Kommunen haben hier eine zentrale Gestaltungsaufgabe. Flughafen Paderborn/Lippstadt GmbH: skyhub PAD: "Überflieger des Jahres 2025" (20.01.2026)
Eine besondere Auszeichnung hat die skyhub PAD GmbH & Co. KG, die die Flugverbindung von Paderborn/Lippstadt nach München gerettet hat, erhalten. Bei der Online-Abstimmung des renommierten Luftfahrt-Portals aeroTELEGRAPH, dessen Leserinnen und Leser in jedem Jahr den "Überflieger bzw. die Überfliegerin des Jahres" küren, hat skyhub PAD für das Jahr 2025 den ersten Platz belegt. 
Mit 31,53 Prozent der Stimmen konnte sich skyhub PAD gegen Eurowings-Chef Jens Bischof (24,33 Prozent) und Lufthansas Technologie-Chefin Grazia Vittadini (14,89 Prozent) durchsetzen. So hat aeroTELEGRAPH die deutschlandweit einmalige Initiative vorgestellt: "Entstanden ist skyhub PAD aus regionaler Initiative in einer wirtschaftsstarken Region, die sich nicht damit abfinden wollte, ihre einzige Drehkreuz-Anbindung zu verlieren. Scania AB (publ): Scania L-cab awarded five stars in Euro NCAP’s Safer Trucks programme (2026-01-20)
Scania’s L-series cab has achieved five-star safety rating – the highest possible – in the European consumer testing organisation Euro NCAP’s Safer Trucks programme.
The tested vehicle, an electric version of the L-cab, is part of the utility segment, which covers vehicles such as refuse collectors and other vital service trucks.
The L-cab is a versatile low-entry cab designed for demanding urban and vocational operations. It offers exceptional direct vision – particularly when equipped with Scania’s City Door, which enhances accessibility and minimises the risk of “dooring” incidents by opening within minimal space.

Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH: BER erreicht als erster Flughafen in Deutschland Level 4 der Airport Carbon Accreditation (22. Januar 2026)
Der Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg wurde erneut für sein CO₂-Management ausgezeichnet. Als erster Flughafen in Deutschland erreicht der BER das Level 4 der Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA). Das stellt einen weiteren Meilenstein auf dem Weg zu einem CO₂-neutralen Flughafenbetrieb dar. Die Auszeichnung wurde heute gemeinsam mit dem Regierenden Bürgermeister von Berlin, Kai Wegner, im Roten Rathaus der Öffentlichkeit vorgestellt.
Die Airport Carbon Accreditation ist ein weltweit anerkanntes Zertifizierungsprogramm des Airport Council International (ACI) EUROPE. Das Programm wird in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den vier ACI Regionen umgesetzt und dabei von ACI World unterstützt. Es bewertet und würdigt die Aktivitäten von Flughäfen zur strukturierten Erfassung, Steuerung und Reduzierung ihrer Kohlenstoffemissionen. Die Teilnahme ist freiwillig, die Auditierung erfolgt durch unabhängige, externe Gutachter.

SNCB: Nouvelle série de timbres-poste pour les 100 ans de la SNCB (22 janvier 2026)
