Eurocontrol: New call for operational challenges for our user-driven innovation projects (18 May 2026)
EUROCONTROL Air Transport Innovation Network - Powered by the EUROCONTROL Innovation Hub
As part of our efforts to support the digital transformation of European aviation, we have launched the EUROCONTROL Air Transport Innovation Network (EATIN), with our Brétigny EUROCONTROL Innovation Hub orchestrating a number of innovation projects. This initiative is designed to accelerate innovation by bringing digital solutions closer to the end-users and accelerating the uptake of digital solutions in aviation.
These innovation projects aim at solving ‘Operational Challenges’ defined by our operational stakeholders, such as airspace users, air navigation services providers (ANSPs), airports. We aim to improve the way we serve and connect with our operational partners by working closer with them to develop agile, digital solutions and services that address their real needs.

Deutsche Verkehrswissenschaftliche Gesellschaft e. V.: Call for Papers: Daten in der Mobilität (22.05.2026)
Für unsere kommende Ausgabe (ISSN 27-2026) des Journal für Mobilität und Verkehr rufen wir zu Einreichnungen von wissenschaftlichen Papern auf zum Schwerpunkt Daten in der Mobilität.
In der jüngsten Zeit zeigen sich u.a. durch die vermehrte Nutzung von Mobilitätsapps, den Einsatz von KI in der Auswertung großer Datenmengen und automatisierter Videoauswertung, etc. neue Möglichkeiten, Mobilität zu erfassen und zu analysieren. Auch die Generierung und Auswertung großer Datenmengen für Clusteranalysen und die Erhebung von Längsschnittdaten scheinen vereinfachter möglich. Vor diesem Hintergrund wollen wir in der kommenden Ausgabe unseres Journals für Mobilität und Verkehr den Fokus auf die Chancen und Herausforderungen der Erfassung und Auswertung von Mobilitätsdaten legen und mit dem Journal eine aktuelle Zusammenstellung der derzeitigen Entwicklungen in Forschung und Praxis geben. Wir laden Forscherinnen und Forscher sowie Expertinnen und Experten herzlich dazu ein, Beiträge einzureichen.

Köln. – Das Fahrradparkhaus am Bahnhof Schöneweide ist im Wettbewerb „Berliner Klimaschutzpartner des Jahres 2026“ in der Kategorie „Projekte öffentlicher Einrichtungen“ mit dem 1. Platz ausgezeichnet worden. Das Projekt der GB infraVelo GmbH gilt als beispielhaft für die Verknüpfung von Radverkehr und öffentlichem Personennahverkehr sowie für nachhaltiges Bauen. Das Bundesministerium für Verkehr (BMV) fördert das Modellprojekt mit rund 2,6 Millionen Euro. Das Bundesamt für Logistik und Mobilität (BALM) setzt das Förderprogramm als Projektträger und Bewilligungsbehörde um.
