Minister Tonne: „Ausgezeichnete Kommunen sind Vorbilder für eine nachhaltige Verkehrspolitik in Niedersachsen“
Das Land Niedersachsen hat heute sechs Kommunen mit dem Zertifikat „Fahrradfreundliche Kommune“ geehrt. Die Auszeichnung würdigt das besondere Engagement für den Radverkehr und den Ausbau klimafreundlicher Mobilität. Voraussetzung für die Zertifizierung sind unter anderem ein aktuelles Radverkehrskonzept, klare strategische Zielsetzungen sowie personelle und finanzielle Ressourcen. Das Zertifikat gilt für fünf Jahre.
