EIT Urban Mobility: EIT Urban Mobility to exhibit leading mobility startups at Micromobility Europe 2025 (16.06.2025)
EIT Urban Mobility, an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union, will both attend and take part in key panels and judging sessions at Micromobility Europe this year. 
As Europe’s leading investor in European mobility startups, Micromobility Europe forms an important part of EIT Urban Mobility’s annual event calendar. From an investment perspective, such a focused event allows for not only scouting, but seeing what is happening in industry closeup. This allows EIT Urban Mobility to continue the trend already set in making highly impactful and increasingly bigger mobility investments. 
Looking ahead, EIT Urban Mobility are set to expand to making later-stage investments (Series A) to support more mature startups, in addition to continuing to support those in the early-stage. This means increasing investment tickets to €2 million for stronger backing while strengthening cross-border collaboration and pan-European projects. The goal of which is to build a long-term, network-powered vision for sustainable urban mobility in Europe.

ALICE (Alliance for Logistics Innovation through Collaboration in Europe): Advancing data-driven urban logistics: DISCO project featured at “Navigating the Last Mile” Workshop (20.06.2025)
On 11-12 June 2025, the workshop “Navigating the Last Mile: Innovation in Zero Emissions Urban Freight” convened logistics stakeholders from across Europe at the POLIS offices in Brussels. The event is co-organised by POLIS and the Brussels green deal for low emission logistics and supported by ALICE and the URBANE City Platform by URBANE project. 
As part of the programme, the DISCO project was presented by Dries Van Bever (imec) on 11 June. His intervention focused on the Ghent Living Lab and the development of a data-driven Urban Access Control (UAC) solution designed to improve the integration of vehicle access regulations in logistics planning systems.

DB Cargo AG: Beeindruckende Einblicke und intensiver Austausch: DB Cargo auf der transport logistic 2025 (18.06.2025)
B Cargo präsentierte wegweisende Logistiklösungen und technologische Neuentwicklungen auf der transport logistic 2025.
Die internationale Logistikbranche versammelte sich auf der weltweit anerkannten Messe transport logistic in München, die in diesem Jahr vom 2. bis 5. Juni stattfand. DB Cargo trat als starker Partner im Logistikbereich auf, dieses Mal ohne den üblichen großen Stand. Mit einem neuen Ansatz war DB Cargo dennoch prominent vertreten.
Wichtige Unternehmensbereiche wie die Branchen Maritimer KV mit der TFG Transfracht und die DB Cargo Full Load Solutions (FLS) sowie die DB Cargo Eurasia zeigten an verschiedenen Standorten ihre maßgeschneiderten Logistiklösungen. Besonders hervorgehoben wurden Logistikketten im Seehafenhinterlandverkehr und Schienentransporte zwischen Europa und Asien. DB Cargo Eurasia und TFG Transfracht stellten die internationalen Transporte, den Albatross-Express am Stand von GATEWAY HAMBURG vor. Am Gemeinschaftsstand der Internationalen Bahnspedition (IBS) war DB Cargo FLS als Spezialist für intermodale Door-to-Door-Lösungen für Komplettladungen vertreten.

ULTIMO: ULTIMO hosts a side event at UITP Summit 2025: Overcoming barriers to automated mobility in Europe (16.06.2025)
From 15 to 18 June 2025, the UITP Global Public Transport Summit will take place in Hamburg, Germany, transforming the city into a global hub for sustainable urban mobility. As the world’s largest event dedicated to public transport and urban mobility, the Summit brings together mobility professionals from across the globe to discuss the future of public transport.
As one of the latest EU-funded demonstration projects in Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM), ULTIMO has gained valuable insights and learnings about the complexities of deploying CCAM services within public transport systems.

Bundesverband Taxi und Mietwagen e.V.: Das Taxigewerbe im Rampenlicht auf der UITP – Bundesverband spricht im Panel (20.06.2025)
Hamburg. Die größte ÖPNV-Messe der Welt, der Gipfel des Internationalen Verbands für öffentliches Verkehrswesen (International Association of Public Transport, UITP), fand gestern in Hamburg statt. Michael Oppermann, der Geschäftsführer des Bundesverbands Taxi und Mietwagen, sprach dort in einem Panel über die Zukunft des Taxis im öffentlichen Verkehr. Der Titel seines Vortrags lautete: „Rethinking taxis in the public transport landscape: New On-Demand-Services & Robotaxis“.
